Sri Lankan Hot Air Balloon Experience

This season Adventure Asia Balloon Safari's brings a completely NEW dimension to Tourism across Sri Lanka. Our flights will be taking place in 3-key tourism destinations plus select flights across all parts of the Island.

Morning flights are available in all of our three spectacular locations with a total capacity of carrying 42 passengers (in 4 balloons) at any one time, when booked in advance The Adventure Asia Balloon Safari's experience and service is world class. Our team consists of highly experienced commercial pilots from the UK and Europe along with extensively trained operational staff and technical crew. Adventure Asia's Balloons have been sourced from Australia, the UK and Europe and globally recognised standards of safety and international operating systems and procedures have been implemented from the outset. Since 2003 we have flown with a perfect record and without incident. Adventure Asia Balloon Safari's passengers and equipment are comprehensively insured as per global aviation norms.


The following services are included

Guest reception :-

Guests will be picked-up from their hotel /accommodation approximately 45 minutes before the flight (dependant on the distance between the hotel and launch site). Note: For flights in Dambulla we meet at the take off point – Guides and Drivers are familiar with our take-off point

Guests Drop :-
Following the flight, guests will be dropped back to meeting point/hotel or to an alternate location if required. ( For Selected Packages Only)

Passenger Briefing :-
Standard Flight Package: Once guests arrive at the launch site the pilot will give a safety briefing and basic orientation to the technical aspects of Hot-Air Ballooning.

We also offer :-
Deluxe and Luxury Flights which bring with them the offer of Chauffeured Vehicle, Champagne and more

Flight :-
Flight time is approximately 60 minutes (+/- 10 minutes).

Post flight Activities :-
After the balloon has landed, guests can stay for as little or as long as they like until they are ready to leave the landing site to be driven back to their hotel or alternative drop-off point.

Total Ballooning experience :-
Approximately 3 hours.

• 30+ days before flight date 25% of ticket value
• 30 to 15 days before flight date 50% of the ticket value

Cancellation

• 30+ days before flight date Nil
• 30 to 7 days before flight date 50% of the ticket value
• 7 to 0 days before the flight date 100% of the ticket value
• Please Note: Any cancellation due to weather or for reasons deemed to be operational issues controlled by Adventure Asia Int. will result in a full refund of payment.
• We can also plan special hot air balloon activities with large groups or for corporate outings.
