Glenross is the sister property to the five-star Blue Waters beach hotel in Wadduwa, and has long been the holiday home of the Sri Lankan owners. This century-old plantation bungalow has been caringly refurbished maintaining its old architectural features including Georgian windows, gabled roofs, and stone walls. The interiors are tastefully decorated with Dutch period antiques and plush sofas.
Rooms This two-storey bungalow has four suites – two on the ground floor and two upstairs. All suites are spacious and consist of a bedroom, reading room and ensuite bathroom with bathtub and h/w shower. Two of the rooms have a/c and all have ceiling fans. Rooms are furnished with king size beds, a writing desk, and reclining chairs.
Dining The ground floor as well as the upper floor has spacious lounge areas. There are several dining options including within the privacy of your own room, in the main dining room, outside patio, poolside or the front garden overlooking the mountains. Sri Lankan and western cuisine is on offer here prepared with fresh meats, seafood and vegetables purchased daily.
